Do my viewers need to install anything?
No. Your viewers open the connection URL in their web browser. VNCme runs on the computer whose screen is being shared.
Which computers does VNCme support?
VNCme runs on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit). The people viewing your screen don’t need Windows: they open your link in a web browser on any computer, tablet or phone. See the downloads page for system requirements and the setup guide for first-run steps.
Can I connect over the internet?
Yes. On the Settings tab, choose Tailscale for a private connection between your own devices, or Public tunnel (Cloudflare) for a link anyone can open. Set a viewer password, start the server and share the address it shows. See the internet access guide. Third-party service availability and policies apply.
Is the licence a subscription?
Yes, VNCme is an annual subscription. Personal is £20 a year for one computer, and Small Business is £500 a year for up to 50 computers. Both include every software update while your subscription is active, and commercial use. If you don’t renew, VNCme stops working at the end of your paid year.
Can viewers control my computer?
VNCme supports remote mouse and keyboard control. Review your session settings before sharing a link, only invite trusted people, and stop the server when your session is finished.
Can we send files to each other?
Yes. Viewers click Send file or drag files onto your screen, and VNCme asks you to accept or decline each one. Accepted files are saved to your Downloads\VNCme folder and never opened automatically. To send a file to your viewers, click Send File to Viewers in VNCme. You can turn incoming files off on the Settings tab. See the guide.
Does copy and paste work?
Yes, for text. Press Ctrl+V in the viewer to paste from the viewer’s device onto your computer. Press Ctrl+C, or click Copy from host, to copy text from your computer to theirs. You can turn clipboard sharing off on the Settings tab.
Can I move my licence to another computer?
Licences are tied to activated computers. You can manage machine activations in your account and deactivate an old computer before activating a replacement, within your plan's computer limit.
How does the free trial work?
Choose a plan above and start your 7-day free trial. It includes your plan’s features and computer allowance, for personal or business use. Card details are required; unless you cancel before the trial ends, your yearly subscription starts. The trial page explains more.
